Here on my blog I write openly
and often candidly about my thoughts on the church, ministry, family, leadership, conflict, relationships, and all the weird things that so often happen to me (like drag racing millennials on a county road or being seen in the back of a police car).
I have an amazing wife,
three grown daughters, three sons-in-law and four grandchildren. One of my favorite things to do is travel with my wife all over the world. (Our fave spot is anywhere in Italy—she’s Italian.)
I began in ministry in 1981
as a Worship Pastor and somehow along the way ended up a Lead Pastor. Go figure. Since 2006 I’ve been honored to be Pastor of Journey Church. Today we are one church in four locations: Kenosha and Burlington, Wisconsin; Beach Park, Illinois; and Vilnius, Lithuania.
I’m privileged to work with an amazing group
of leaders and star volunteers every day. Our church is blessed to have them as part of our great Journey team and they are the real bedrock of our church. I can’t wait to get to the office and work alongside them every single day.
I’m not just a professional pastor, or even just a husband or father. It’s far deeper and more eternal than that. I’m unbelievably passionate about seeing people walking toward Jesus, living out their callings as followers of Christ and serving in their greatest areas of giftedness.
