WE DO.

To the coming generations:

We will tell you about the great things God has done in our lives and pass on the faith so you can do greater things than we did.

May it not be said of us what was said of Israel in the early centuries:  “All that generation were gathered to their fathers.  And there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord or the works He had done for Israel.”  (Judges 2:10)

Somebody stayed silent. Someone didn’t bother to share.  Someone failed to transfer faith, hope and love.  Parents and leaders didn’t pass on the works of God or the life of God to those in their care.

There’s a book for students titled:  ‘Do Hard ThingsA Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations.’  The book begins this way:  ‘Most people don’t expect you to understand what we’re going to tell you in this book.  And even if you understand, they don’t expect you to care.  And even if you care, they don’t expect you to do anything about it.  And even if you do something about it, they don’t expect it to last.  Well, we do.’

WE DO.

Among our children and teenagers and young adults at Journey Church — WE DO.

WE DO.
